Virtual King's Kadets

Week of September 13th- September 19th

Hi King’s Kadets parents!

The Bible says in James 2:1, “My brothers and sisters, you are believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ. So treat everyone the same.” (NIRV) It’s such a simple command, but our sin makes it so hard to follow. The temptation is to treat people differently based on what they look or sound like. That’s what we’re going to tackle in this week’s family lesson.

When it’s time to begin, start your morning of family worship by watching the short lesson video with your kids. (You can access the YouTube playlist here.) It’s a great way to engage spiritually with your family. And don’t forget to participate in the worship videos from Yancy afterwards—one song is for older kids and one is for younger kids.

Here is a snapshot of the lesson details for this week:

Bible Story: Treat Everyone the Same (James 2:1-13)

Big Idea: God calls us to treat everyone the same.

Memory Verse: “My brothers and sisters, you are believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ. So treat everyone the same.” James 2:1 (NIrV)

After the video lesson and music, you can use the attached materials to help take your family deeper into the lesson:

I want to leave you with the words from 2 Corinthians 9:8: “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” (NIV) I hope and pray that God’s blessings help you abound in every good work this week!

In Him,

Pastor Brenda

Parents as you may have heard Pastor Brenda & her husband Chris were in an accident with their motorcycle. Both are doing okay, and we would like to give your children the opportunity to show their love and prayers to Pastor Brenda. Here are some coloring pages you they can pick from and you can print out for them.

Below is a link to some coloring pages: select one and print. Then once the kids have colored it you can scan their artwork and save it as jpeg format and upload to this form and it will be emailed to her.

However, if your equipment doesn't have scan capabilities, you can mail your coloring page to:
